NADIA ANIKIENKO (nee Alfimowa) age 92, passed away April 10, 2015.  Beloved wife of the late Alexander; loving mother of Walter Armstrong, Luda Grossman (Walter), George (Grisel) and Nicholas (Karen); cherished grandmother of Ivan (Jessica), Gregory (Lisa), Geoffrey (Rachel), Grant, Alexander Grossman, Angela, Anastasia Grossman and Anna; great-grandmother of Malachi and Zebulun; dearest sister of Olga Sholudko.

Father EPHRAIM GEORGE

Father EPHRAIM GEORGE entered into eternity on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the age of 95. Father Ephraim, a monk, served the homeless and fed the hungry at St. Herman’s Monestary for many year.

 

Parastas will be Friday January 30 at 7:30 PM.  Friends may may visit between 7:00 and 9:00 PM at St. Vladimir Cathedral 5913 State Road, Parma Ohio.  Funeral service is Saturday, February 2, at 9:30 AM in the Cathedral.

PAULINA SOLJANUK

MRS. PAULINA SOLJANUK entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the age of 90 after a long illness.

AGNES STURKO

On Sunday May 3, 2015, after a lengthy illness, AGNES STURKO entered into eternity at the age of 97. Visitation will be Wednesday May 13 from 5 to 8:00 PM at The KOLODIY-LAZUTA FUNERAL HOME, 5677 STATE RD., PARMA, with the Parastas at 7:00 PM

 

Funeral services are at St. Vladimir Cathedral Thursday at 9:30 AM.  Please meet at the church.

For 10 years, Agnes Sturko lived in Columbus Ohio with her family.  Previously, Agnes lived in the Cleveland area and was active in the life of St. Vladimir parish.

At 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26th, after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer and while listening to the words, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your Kingdom,” Pani Matka Ann Hankavich entered into eternity at the age of 86.
    
Friends may call at ST. VLADIMIR UKRAINIAN ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL, 5913 STATE RD., PARMA, FRIDAY 4-8 P.M. PARASTAS 7 P.M.
 
All Funeral Services Saturday, May 30 at the Cathedral at 9:30 a.m.  Interment Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Youngstown, OH.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Vladimir Cathedral.

Pani Matka Ann served our Holy Church for 65 years as a Pani Matka – 55 years at our St. Vladimir Cathedral – along with her beloved husband of blessed memory, Father Stephen.

S. GREGORY PAWUK

After a lengthy and difficult illness S. GREGORY PAWUK entered into Eternity at the age of 72. Prayers and condolences are offered to his devoted wife, children, and grandchildren.   GREGORY was a lifelong member of St. Vladimir Parish. He served many years on the Board of Trustees and held many offices as well being president. GREGORY was active in the Brotherhood of St. Vladimir and served as president.  He was active in the bingo group and the perogie group.  GREGORY volunteered many hours to his church. He was known and loved by many.  

 

Visitation is at THE KOLODIY-LAZUTA FUNERAL HOME, 5677 STATE RD., PARMA Friday, June 12, 2015  4:00 to 8:00 PM.  The Parastas is at 7:00 P.M.

Our prayers and condolences go out to the family of ANNA MAE KAPPLER (nee Ohukshuk) who after a short illness, entered into eternity on Friday November 13 at the age of 99.  Anna attended Liturgy on a regular basis and participated in the sacraments.

Anna was the beloved wife of Steven Jogan (deceased) and Leonard Kappler (deceased); loving mother of Eugene Jogan (Carole) and Michael Jogan (Dareen); cherished grandmother of Randy, Debra, Shawn, Stephen, Matthew, Martha and Peter; great-grandmother of nine; dearest sister of Paul, Stella and John (all deceased); dear aunt and friend of many.
