Prayers and condolences are offered to the family of WALTER H. SAMIJLENKO who entered into eternity with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the earthly age of 82. Walter and his family have been long time members of St. Vladimir Cathedral. Walter served on the Board of Trustees, was a member of the Brotherhood, the Bingo Club, and the UOL. He was an active volunteer while he was able. In 2003 Walter received the Parishioner of the Year Award (formerly the Man of the Year) for his diligent service to the parish.
He was the beloved husband of Nina (nee Suschenko); dear father of Walter (Donna), Bill (Karen) and Pete (Kathy); loving grandfather of Steven (Amanda), Katie, Michael (Ashley), Natalie (TJ) and Maggie and great-grandfather of Jacob, Matthew and Lily; dearest brother of Helen Dolbin (Walter) and George Samijlenko (Martha). U.S. Army Veteran.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Taras Shevchenko School of Ukrainian Studies at St. Vladimir, 3425 Marioncliff Dr., Parma, OH 44134. A private Funeral Service was held Wednesday, March 18, 2020. A memorial Service will be held at a later date. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.

Prayers and condolences to the family of MARTA MOYSAENKO who entered into eternity Monday, November 9, 2020 at the earthly age of 96. Marta was an active member of the parish prior to her illness. She attended Liturgical services and was a member of the Sixty-Plus Club.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday November 13 at 11:00 AM at St. Vladimir Cathedral 5913 State Road. Visitation preceds the service begining at 10:00 AM.

HELEN DMYTREWYCZ (nee Lisowyk) peacefully entered into eternity at the age 93, on Monday , December 21, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Leonid (deceased) and loving mother of Bohdan (Sherry) and Roman (Mary). She was the cherished grandmother of Paul (Autumn), Michael and John (deceased)and great-grandmother of Valentina.
Helen Dmytrewycz attended liturgical services as long as she was able. She was a member of St. Ann Sisterhood, the Sixty Plus Club, and the parish Ukrainian Choir.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 28 at 11 a.m. at KOLODIY-LAZUTA FUNERAL HOME, 5677 STATE ROAD, PARMA. Visitation will be 10:30 until time of service. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
