ELKA IVANOVA

Prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Elka Ivanova who peacefully entered eternity on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the age of 85 .

  Born February 1, 1937 in Pleven, Bulgaria, she immigrated to Lorain, Ohio 50 years ago. She was the beloved wife to the very Rev. Fr. Vladimir Ivanov (deceased), loving mother to Nedyalko (deceased), & beloved grandmother to Juliana (George), Maria, Ned (Stephanie), and Alexander (Angelina).

  She will be remembered for her phenomenal Bulgarian cooking and talent as a violinist. Her strong emphasis on academics and work ethic is exemplified through her grandchildren. Elka was one of Bulgaria's first female Electrical Engineers - designing everything from blast furnaces at steel mills to the Magnum XL 200 at Cedar Point.

  Visitation Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 9:30AM-10AM followed by a funeral service at 10AM at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 5913 State Rd., Parma OH 44134.  Interment will follow at St. Theodosius Orthodox Christian Cemetery 8200 Biddulph Rd., Brooklyn, OH 44144

INGEBORG HARASIMCHUK

Prayers and condolences to the family of INGEBORG HARASIMCHUK who entered into eternity at the age of 88 on April 7, 2022. 

On Thursday, April 7th, 2022, Ingeborg Harasimchuk (88) of Parma, OH passed away. Beloved wife of the late Feodor Harasimchuk. Loving mother of Hans Harasimchuk and his wife Karen and Peter Harasimchuk (deceased) and his wife Victoria. Dear grandmother of Andrew Harasimchuk and his wife Clare, Tim Harasimchuk and his wife Jackie, Hans Michael Harasimchuk and his wife Jenn, Tanya Reed and her husband Will, and Stephen Harasimchuk and his wife Lisa. Cherished great-grandmother of Logan, Casey, Grayson, Collette, Easton, and Riley. Caring sister to many loving siblings. Best friend to many loving grand dogs.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, April 8th, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Parastas at 7 pm at Kolodiy-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, Oh. MARY BOHUSLAWSKY

MARY BOHUSLAWSKY entered into eternity on May 4, 2022.  Mary was a faithful parishioner, a member of the Pyrohy Group, the Ukrainian Orthodox League Chapter, a teacher at the parish Ukrainian School and a teacher at the Summer VCS  program.

Friends may call for visitation at THE KOLODIY-LAZUTA FUNERAL HOME, 5677 STATE RD., PARMA ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 11 FROM 4-7 P.M. PARASTAS 7 P.M. Funeral Service Thursday, May 12 at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral at 10 A.M (PLEASE MEET AT CATHEDRAL). Interment Pokrova Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to St. Vladimir Cathedral.

RONALD H. TEAMAN age 84, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 22, 2022. Beloved husband of Donna Marie (nee Salata); loving father of Scott (Beth), Brian (Kimberly) and Alison Pettit (Ryan); cherished grandfather of Samuel, Sophia, Jackson and Alexa. Devoted son of the late Harvey and Martha (nee Gigliotti). U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.
