On August 11, together with other religious leaders of Parma, Fr. John Nakonachny and Fr. Michael Hontaruk had lunch with Mayor of Parma Timothy DeGeeter at the Donna Smallwood Activities Center. Father Michael Hontaruk also had the opening prayer, and heard the speeches  and comments of leading Parma officials.
