We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who joined us last Sunday on May, 14th for the triple celebration at St. Vladimir Cathedral. It was a truly memorable day filled with love, joy, and community spirit as we honored Mother's Day, the 20th anniversary of Father Michael's ordination to the Holy Priesthood of our Holy Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and Pani Matka Anna Hontaruk as Pani Matka of our Holy Church, and the birthday of Pani Matka Iryna Mahlay.

Ми хочемо висловити сердечну подяку всім вам, хто приєднався до нас минулої неділі 14 травня на потрійному святі у Свято-Володимирському соборі. Це був справді незабутній день, сповнений любові, радості та дружності, коли ми вшановували День Матері, 20-ту річницю рукоположення отця Михайла на священика нашої Святої Української Православної Церкви США та пані Матки Анни Гонтарук як пані матки нашої Святої Церкви, та день народження пані матки Ірини Махлай.

The atmosphere was vibrant and uplifting as we gathered to recognize and appreciate the invaluable role of mothers in our lives. During Divine Liturgies, we offered prayers for all mothers, grandmothers, godmothers and all women and expressed our gratitude for their selfless love and unwavering support. It was a beautiful moment of reflection and gratitude. At the end of the first Divine Liturgy all women in church received a rose.

Атмосфера була яскравою та піднесеною, коли ми зібралися, щоб визнати та оцінити неоціненну роль матерів у нашому житті. Під час Божественних Літургій ми підносили молитви за всіх матерів, бабусь, хрещених і всіх жінок і висловлювали вдячність за безкорисливу любов і непохитну підтримку. Це був прекрасний момент роздумів і вдячності. Наприкінці першої Божественної Літургії всі жінки в церкві отримали троянду.

The 20th anniversary of Father Michael's ordination and his wife Pani Matka Anna was a remarkable milestone. At the end of the first English Divine Liturgy Fr. John Nakonachny – pastor, greeted them with their 20th anniversary and at the end of the second Ukrainian Divine Liturgy the greeting was presented by protodeacon Ihor Mahlay and on behalf of the parish, altar server Mykola Logvynyuk presented a bouquet of flowers. All parishioners were expressing their gratitude for his guidance, compassion, and spiritual leadership. It was a truly touching moment, showcasing the impact Fr. Michael has had on our parish family.

20-річчя хіротонії отця Михайла та його дружини Пані Матки Анни стало визначною віхою. Наприкінці першої англійської Божественної Літургії о. Іван Наконечний – настоятель, привітав їх із 20-літтям, а наприкінці другої Української Божественної Літургії привітав протодиякон Ігор Махлай і вівтарний прислужник Микола Логвинюк, від імені парафії врчив букет квітів. Усі парафіяни висловлювали вдячність за його духовне керівництво. Це був справді зворушливий момент, демонструючи вплив о. Михайла на нашу парафіяльну родину.

Additionally, we had the pleasure of celebrating the birthday of Pani Matka Iryna Mahlay. And we wish her good health much happiness and our warm wishes and God’s blessings.

Крім того, ми мали приємність відсвяткувати день народження Пані Матки Ірини Махлай. І ми бажаємо їй міцного здоров’я, багато щастя і наших теплих побажань і Божого благословіння.

After the Liturgies, everyone was invited to our Grand Hall for a coffee hour and for the Mother’s Day program prepared by our parish children by the leadership of our youth minister Oksana Logvynyuk. At the end of the program Fr. Michael Hontaruk thanked Oksana Logvynyuk and children for a beautiful program and everyone was signing our traditional Ukrainian Mnohaya Lita for all Mother’s and all children presented to all women a rose on this special day, sponsored by our Junior UOL chapter.
The entire weekend was a testament to the strong bonds that unite us as a parish family. We extend our gratitude to all the volunteers, organizers, and participants who made this celebration possible. Your contributions, whether big or small, were invaluable in creating a joyful and memorable experience for everyone.

Після Літургій усі були запрошені до нашого великого залу на каву та смачну перекуску та на програму до Дня Матері, яку підготували наші парафіяльні діти під керівництвом Оксани Логвинюк. Наприкінці програми о. Михайло Гонтарук подякував Оксані Логвинюк і дітям за гарну програму, і всі разом заспівали многая літа для всіх Матерів і всі діти, подарували всім жінкам троянду в цей особливий день, спонсором якого був наш Молодший відділ УПЛ.
Ці вихідні були свідченням міцності, яка об’єднуює нас як одну парафіяльну родину. Висловлюємо подяку всім волонтерам, організаторам та учасникам, які зробили це свято можливим. Ваш внесок, великий чи малий, був неоціненним у створенні радісних і незабутніх вражень для всіх.

May God continue to bless all the mothers, Fr. Michael in his priestly ministry and his wife p. m. Anna, and p. m. Iryna Mahlay on her birthday. Let us carry the spirit of this celebration in our hearts and continue to uplift and support one another in our journey of faith in Jesus Christ. Once again, thank you for being part of this special day at St. Vladimir Cathedral. Your presence and participation made it truly remarkable. May God's blessings be with you always.

Нехай Бог і надалі благословляє всіх матерів, о. Михайла у його священичому служінні та його дружину п. м. Анну та п. м. Ірину Махлай з днем ​​народження. Давайте нести дух цього свята в наших серцях і продовжувати підносити та підтримувати один одного на нашому шляху віри в Ісуса Христа.
