On Friday, November 17, 2023, at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio, a heartfelt commemoration marked the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor. Local clergy led a solemn memorial service attended by notable figures, including Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States of America, Oksana Markarova, US officials, members of UZO, and devoted faithful. As we honored the memory of this tragic chapter in Ukraine's history, it was impossible to ignore the alarming parallels to the present day. Under the leadership of Putin, the Russian government continues to exert its influence over Ukraine, sowing discord and instability. The ongoing war in Ukraine, the displacement of countless Ukrainians underscores the urgent need for international attention and action to address this crisis.

У п’ятницю, 17 листопада 2023 року, в Свято-Володимирському Українському Православному Соборі в Пармі, Огайо, відбулися щирі вшанування 90-х роковин Голодомору. Місцеве духовенство очолило заупокійну панахиду, в якій взяли участь відомі особи, серед яких Посол України в Сполучених Штатах Америки Оксана Маркарова, офіційні особи США, члени УЗО та вірні громади. Вшановуючи пам’ять цієї трагічної сторінки в історії України, неможливо було оминути тривожні паралелі з сьогоденням. Під керівництвом Путіна російський уряд продовжує впливати на Україну, сіючи розбрат і нестабільність. Війна, що триває в Україні, переміщення незліченної кількості українців підкреслюють нагальну потребу міжнародної уваги та дій для вирішення цієї кризи.
