Dear Faithful of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, just a reminder that our parish, at the Annual Meeting, adopted the Revised Julian Calendar. This year, the Nativity Fast began on Friday, November 15. The Feast of the Nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be celebrated on December 25, with Christmas Eve on December 24. The feast days of the Naming of Jesus, St. Basil the Great, and the New Year will be on January 1. The eve of the Holy Theophany will be observed on January 5, followed by the feast day of the Holy Theophany on January 6. Please note that on January 7, we WILL HAVE a Divine Liturgy. Дорогі вірні Свято-Володимирського Українського Православного Собору, нагадуємо, що наша парафія на Річних Зборах прийняла Новоюліанський календар. Цього року Різдвяний піст розпочався у п’ятницю, 15 листопада. Свято Різдва Господа нашого і Спасителя Ісуса Христа буде відзначатися 25 грудня, а Святвечір — 24 грудня. Святкові дні Обрізання Господнього, Святого Василія Великого та Новий рік припадають на 1 січня. Навечір'я Святого Богоявлення відзначатиметься 5 січня, а свято Святого Богоявлення — 6 січня.
