Sunday, June 4, 2023 was a special day in the life of our St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. The celebration on Pentecost Sunday hold special significance as Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and the birth of the early Christian Church. It's a joyous occasion where the faithful gather to celebrate the Holy Spirit's presence and its role in the life of the Church.

Неділя, 4 червня 2023 року, був особливим днем у житті нашого Свято-Володимирського Українського Православного Собору. Святкування Святої П’ятидесятниці має особливе значення, оскільки П’ятдесятниця вшановує зішестя Святого Духа на апостолів і народження ранньої Христової Церкви. Це радісна подія, коли вірні збираються, щоб відсвяткувати присутність Святого Духа та його роль у житті Церкви.

Holy Confession is an important sacrament in the Orthodox Church, where individuals confess their sins and receive forgiveness from God. It's a significant step in their spiritual journey. The ten children of our St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio received the Sacrament of Holy Confession for the first time in their lives. We are very grateful to Mrs. Oksana Logvynyuk for preparing children for a special moment in their life. As a reminder of their special day, the children received from Fr. John and Fr. Michael a certificate and a prayer book.
Свята Сповідь – важливе таїнство в Православній Церкві, під час якого люди визнають свої гріхи та отримують прощення від Бога. Це важливий крок у їхньому духовному шляху. Десятеро дітей нашого Свято-Володимирського Українського Православного Собору в Пармі, Огайо, вперше в своєму житті приступили до Таїнства Святої Сповіді. Ми дуже вдячні пані Оксані Логвинюк за те, що підготувала дітей до особливого моменту в їхньому життя. На згадку про цей особливий день діти отримали від о. Івана та о. Михайла сертифікат та молитовник.

Additionally, the three graduates from High School received a precious gift, the Holy Bible from the Senior chapter of the Ukrainian Orthodox League. The Bible is Sacred Holy Book, containing the teachings and messages of God. It's a symbol of faith and a guide for living a righteous life. 
Крім того, троє випускників із загально-освініх шкіл отримали цінний подарунок – Біблію від Старшого відділу Українсьної Православної Ліги. Біблія - це Священна Книга, яка містить вчення самого Господа Бога. Це символ віри та дороговказ до праведного життя.

These moments of celebration and spiritual growth are significant milestones in the lives of these children and graduates. Finally, after the greetings, Protodeacon Ihor intoned for everyone's many years. After that, everyone who were present in the church sang many years. May these children and graduates continue to grow in their Faith, finding strength, wisdom, guidance, and inspiration in the teachings of the Holy Orthodox Church.
Ці моменти свята та духовного зростання є визначними віхами в житті цих дітей та випускників. Наостанок, після привітань, протодиякон Ігор виголосив всім многолітство, а всі присутні у церкві заспівали многая літа. Нехай ці діти класу першої Святої Сповіді та випускники й надалі зростають у Вірі, знаходячи силу, мудрість, настанову та натхнення у вченні Святої Православної Церкви.
